Project Spotlight: Landon School Dining Hall
Since 1929, Landon has prepared generations of boys to become accomplished, responsible, and caring men. Over the course of the last several years, our team has been working on various projects on campus. The Dining Hall was completed just before the students returned to start the 23/24 academic year.
This project encompassed refurbishing the primary campus dining hall, installing all new ceramic tile flooring, ceiling light fixtures, ceiling tiles and diffusers, accompanied by a comprehensive repaint of the interior walls.

According to www.worldconstructiontoday.com, “It is well to be noted that looking ahead to 2024, there could indeed be a boost to construction that’s associated with manufacturing, transportation infrastructure, as well as clean energy infrastructure, as funds from three major pieces of legislation passed throughout 2021 and 2022, which were the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act- IIJA, the Inflation Reduction Act- IRA, and the Creating Helpful Incentives to Produce Semiconductors- CHIPS Act, which are indeed expected to flow through the industry.”
We expect the most active sectors in commercial construction for 2024 to be manufacturing, infrastructure, and clean energy. Going forward, these are the industries we’ll be focusing most on, this year.
