Satellite Clean Room

Project consisted of demolition and relocation/rebuild of existing ceiling, floors, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing to make way for a new 5500 square foot space that consists of a warehouse, satellite build area, offices, pantry, and restrooms as well as external roof top equipment to support strict clean room environment requirements. Concrete floor is a high performance urethane floor coating system to meet specifications for conductivity standards required for space mission projects.

Andrew Iannizzi, President of RAC, is very grateful for being selected to have been the general contractor for this project. His team consisted of The Potomac Development Group (Building Owner), The Arch Group (Designer), SAH Engineering (MEP Engineer), and Cameron Parcell (RAC PM), Arturo Vitela (RAC Superintendent), Nate Spinks (Asst, PM), and Ray Hook (Dir of Estimating).

Main Warehouse and Build Area
Finished main warehouse and build area to include 5 foot x 5 foot in ground footers to support future craning system for satellite construction.

Overhead Door and Gowning Room
Entry/Exit for parts and final build as well as a 'gowning' room to the left of the overhead door for workers to 'suit up' including foot covers, head covers, and protective clean gear before entering build room.
